Job summary

Rainbow Healthcare Community seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and schedule a team ensuring a clean, comfortable home for residents in long-term care. You will direct, train, and assist with environmental tasks including sweeping, mopping, laundry, and surface disinfection.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English in writing and verbally with staff and residents.
• Standing, walking for long periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience supervising scheduling, training, and leading teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and schedule a housekeeping team to maintain a clean, comfortable long-term care environment.
• Direct, train, and lead staff; participate in environmental tasks such as floor care, dusting, and laundry.
• Arrange furniture, disinfect surfaces, and ensure resident rooms and common areas are well maintained.
• Perform light administrative duties and communicate with residents' families as needed.
