Job summary

Tharaldson Hospitality Management is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Sparks Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton in Sparks, NV. The role oversees daily housekeeping operations, ensures rooms and public spaces meet brand standards, and coaches the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, safety, inventory control, guest requests, and collaboration with maintenance.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of housekeeping or hotel supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
• Train team members on company standards, brand requirements, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
• Assign daily work schedules, room assignments, and distribute keys.
• Address guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new housekeeping associates.
• Monitor inventory of linens, guest room supplies, and cleaning products.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure repairs are properly documented.
• Follow up on vacant, occupied, and inspected rooms to ensure readiness.
• Maintain and manage lost and found items according to company procedures.
• Step in to clean guest rooms and assist the team as needed.
• Promote a safe, positive, and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
