Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping and laundry staff, maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents in a healthcare setting.

The role involves coordinating daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness. You will collaborate with leadership to meet residents' needs and promote a welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, laundry services, environmental services, custodial or commercial cleaning.
• Experience supervising or leading housekeeping or laundry staff is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and laundry procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and facility leadership.
• Dependable and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and facility policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a commercial housekeeping or cleaning environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Housekeeping & Laundry Staff: Coordinate daily activities and support team members.
• Oversee Cleaning Operations: Ensure schedules are followed and areas are sanitary and orderly.
• Maintain Facility Cleanliness: Perform and oversee cleaning in offices, restrooms, activity rooms, and other spaces.
• Support Laundry Operations: Ensure laundry duties are completed efficiently and per standards.
• Monitor Cleaning Standards: Promote consistent housekeeping and sanitation practices.
• Respond to Cleaning Needs: Address cleanliness concerns promptly.
• Collaborate With Facility Leadership: Work with the Administrator and departments to meet resident needs.
• Promote Resident Comfort: Create a warm, respectful environment for residents and visitors.
• Follow Safety & Compliance Standards: Adhere to policies and regulations.
