A retirement community is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping programs. The role requires planning, directing, and coordinating cleaning services to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, significant housekeeping experience, and at least one year in a supervisory role. This position offers full-time hours with potential weekend and holiday shifts, along with eligibility for various benefits including medical and 401(k) participation.

Housekeeping Supervisor

Salary: Starting at $18.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full Time, weekends and holidays may be required.

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the community housekeeping programs to ensure that areas of the community are maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner for our residents and guests.

• Develop schedules for the housekeeping team
• Communicate cleaning schedule changes to the residents and/or family members
• Conduct daily inspections of the interior of the community, immediately addressing any deficiencies ensuring the safety of the community
• Coordinate cleaning of rent ready and move in ready apartments
• Train new and existing staff in community and state required policies and procedures
• Responsible for hiring and supervising the housekeeping team

Qualifications

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of housekeeping experience required
• 1 year in a supervisory or management position in housekeeping or environmental services
