Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor for our community in Grantwood Village, MO. The role requires overseeing housekeeping programs, ensuring safety and cleanliness for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include scheduling, staff training, hiring and supervising the team, and coordinating cleaning of occupied and move-in-ready apartments to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three (3) years of housekeeping experience is required.
• One (1) year in a supervisory or management position in housekeeping or environmental services.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for the housekeeping team.
• Communicate cleaning schedule changes to residents and/or family members.
• Conduct daily inspections of the interior of the community, addressing deficiencies to ensure safety.
• Coordinate cleaning of rent ready and move-in ready apartments.
• Train new and existing staff in community and state required policies and procedures.
• Responsible for hiring and supervising the housekeeping team.

Job Description

Schedule: Full-Time. 7am-3pm, varied weekdays and every third weekend.

Nothing gets past you – you see the fingerprints and the dust bunnies. You are hard-working, detail-oriented, professional, friendly, and efficient. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the community housekeeping programs to ensure that areas of the community are maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner for our residents and guests.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop schedules for the housekeeping team
• Communicate cleaning schedule changes to the residents and/or family members
• Conduct daily inspections of the interior of the community, immediately addressing any deficiencies ensuring the safety of the community
• Coordinate cleaning of rent ready and move-in ready apartments
• Train new and existing staff in community and state required policies and procedures
• Responsible for hiring and supervising the housekeeping team

Qualifications
