Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for a full-time role, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm. The position oversees housekeeping operations, steps in as Manager in absence, and ensures timely, high-quality cleaning across resident rooms and common areas.

You will train frontline staff, maintain equipment, monitor safety guidelines, and manage supplies within budgeted limits. Collaboration with leadership is essential for consistent standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Institutional housekeeping and some supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze problems and make sound judgments based on standards of care.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate with leadership and staff to schedule services.

Responsibilities

• Oversees coordination and supervision of housekeeping operations.
• Assists in training new team members in proper procedures and safety.
• Maintains department equipment in a clean, safe condition and performs inspections.
• Promotes teamwork and delegates responsibilities within staff capabilities.
• Orders, stocks, and monitors supplies through vendors.
• Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, and common areas.
