Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the community housekeeping program. You will plan schedules, inspect interiors daily, coordinate move-in cleaning, and train staff to meet state policies, while hiring and supervising the housekeeping team to keep the community safe and welcoming for residents and guests.

The role is full-time with varied weekdays and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of housekeeping experience required.
• 1 year in a supervisory or management position in housekeeping or environmental services.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for the housekeeping team
• Communicate cleaning schedule changes to the residents and/or family members
• Conduct daily inspections of the interior of the community, immediately addressing any deficiencies ensuring the safety of the community
• Coordinate cleaning of rent ready and move in ready apartments
• Train new and existing staff in community and state required policies and procedures
• Responsible for hiring and supervising the housekeeping team
