Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor supports hotel operations by leading housekeeping and laundry activities, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include:

1. Providing leadership and direction for all housekeeping and laundry operations.
2. Inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for cleanliness.
3. Training, motivating, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff.
4. Maintaining cleaning schedules and preparing weekly work plans.
5. Managing supply and linen inventories.
6. Updating room statuses in the computer system.
7. Responding promptly and courteously to guest and management requests.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of housekeeping or operations experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds, carry 10 pounds, and spend most of the day walking, bending, and pushing.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and multitask effectively.
• Flexible hours and days, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

The hourly rate is $21.00, based on experience and qualifications.
