The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for directing room attendants and inspectors in assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of hotel rooms.

This is a full-time position requiring day, night, and weekend availability.

Essential duties include:

• Performing all tasks of Room Attendants and Inspectors.
• Overseeing activities of assigned staff.
• Inspecting rooms for cleanliness, supplies, and maintenance issues.
• Communicating maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Assisting in creating and assigning housekeeping schedules.
• Ensuring cleanliness and organization of linen storage, trash rooms, and carts.
• Removing hazardous substances from storage areas.
• Maintaining clean hallways, vending areas, and stairways.
• Supervising staff and addressing personnel issues.
• Ensuring staff report in and are cleared before leaving.
• Using chemicals safely and understanding safety data sheets.
• Following procedures to protect against bloodborne pathogens.
• Practicing safety procedures for bending, lifting, and equipment use.
• Reporting hazards to management.
• Managing room turnover and verifying early checkouts.
• Reporting property damage and inventory issues promptly.
