Job summary

Luxor Healthcare in Missouri seeks a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-presented facility.

This role requires English proficiency, a minimum 10th-grade education, leadership qualities, housekeeping experience, and the ability to relate to residents and staff with courtesy. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks and participate in safety and infection control practices, meetings, and training.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate leadership qualities.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Experience in housekeeping is required.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to the housekeeping team.
• Take responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance of the facility.
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions and specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments and established housekeeping procedures.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish furnishings.
• Clean floors and bathrooms as necessary and directed.
• Spot-check assigned vacant rooms and clean as needed.
• Follow facility-established safety and infection control practices when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
• Clean work/supply carts and equipment as necessary.
• Attend departmental and staff meetings, in-service educational classes, and on-the-job training programs, as scheduled or called.

Housekeeping Supervisor – Requirements:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th-grade education.
• Speak and write the English language.
• Leadership qualities
• Housekeeping experience
• Must be able to relate to residents and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances.
• Must successfully complete a thorough background screen.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
