Luxor Healthcare in Saint Peters, MO, seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and uphold a clean, presentable facility. You will ensure a sanitary, safe environment and improve the overall appearance, contributing to patient care.

The role requires English proficiency, leadership ability, and prior housekeeping experience, with a focus on courteous interaction with residents and staff. This is a hands-on supervisory position within a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to speak and write English.

• Housekeeping experience.
• Ability to relate to residents and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances.
• Must successfully complete thorough background screen.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to the housekeeping team.
• Take responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance of the facility.
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions in accordance with daily work assignments and established procedures.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish furnishings.
• Clean floors and bathrooms as necessary and directed.
• Spot check assigned vacant rooms and clean as needed.
• Follow established safety and infection control practices when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
• Clean work and supply carts and equipment as necessary.
• Attend departmental and staff meetings, in-service educational classes, and on-the-job training programs as scheduled.
