Director of Plant Operations responsible for overseeing housekeeping/laundry operations, training staff, and maintaining high standards of sanitation, safety, and service.
Position Summary
Supervises housekeeping/laundry operations, trains team members, and maintains high standards of sanitation, safety, and service.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance per company standards; supervise staff; manage schedules; conduct inspections; maintain supply inventories.
- Perform cleaning functions as needed; promote safety and exemplary service.

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Six (6) months housekeeping experience preferred; supervisory exposure a plus.
Knowledge/Skills
- Communication; teamwork; attention to detail; safety orientation.
- Comfort using Gardens Care’s approved systems is required: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Meet), ECP (care management), Sagely (life enrichment/activity documentation), and ADP (timekeeping, payroll, scheduling).
Special Requirements
- Medical clearance per policy.
Tools & Equipment
- Standard housekeeping carts and supplies; laundry equipment.
Physical Activities
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.; climb/reach/bend/twist occasionally; frequent talking and listening; frequent handling of linens/supplies.
Visual Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate effectively for safety and quality.
- Indoor/outdoor tasks; managed exposure to cleaning agents per policy.
