Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a housekeeping department.
• Open availability for a flexible schedule.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances.
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
• Distribute assignment sheets, room keys, and beepers
• Maintain accurate records for security
• Inspect all check-out rooms and 50% of stayover rooms
• Inspect public areas, restrooms, meeting and office spaces, at least twice a day to ensure cleanliness
• Monitor and respond to guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
• Conduct weekly supply audits to ensure all hotel supplies are at adequate par levels
• Oversee the cleaning of all guest rooms and public spaces
• Responsible for the upkeep, audit, and maintenance of the department's fire/life safety program
• Schedule all housekeeping staff in accordance with occupancy levels and labor guidelines
• Communicate with other departments to ensure a high quality product and service level is delivered
• Order, stock, and maintain inventory of any room supplies and cleaning supplies
• Conduct monthly staff meetings

Salary Range: $19.00 To $22.00 Hourly

We seek a positive, service oriented, energetic and self-motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to work closely with the maintenance and housekeeping teams as well as other departments of the hotel. The successful candidate will be welcoming with friendly attitude, be team orientated, be efficient and a good problem solver.
