Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Housekeeping with 6 months as an Inspector.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.

Pay Range:

$15.00-$18.00

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the responsibilities of the Housekeeping Department including Room Cleaning, Public Area Cleaning, Laundry & Guest laundry services.
2. Maintain high standards in all aspects of internal and external service.
3. Promote unity and teamwork throughout the department.
4. Participate actively in all aspects of Housekeeping operations, including Room cleaning, inspections, deep cleaning, Laundry, and Public areas.
5. Communicate professionally, courteously, and helpfully with guests.
6. Supervise Housekeeping teams to maximize guest satisfaction, exceed expectations, and complete daily objectives efficiently.
7. Support environmental commitments by leading in the global effort to ‘green’ the hospitality industry.
8. Report safety hazards immediately to your Department Supervisor.
9. Monitor day-to-day operations closely.
10. Ensure all service standards are met and adhered to.
11. Regularly inspect public areas and guestrooms.
12. Facilitate consistent quality of service to exceed guest expectations.
13. Supervise staff performance, attendance, appearance, and conduct.
14. Coordinate with Engineering and Front Office to maximize guest satisfaction.
15. Update Housekeeping Management on room status for arrivals and other inquiries.
16. Assist with answering phones, guest requests, and general inquiries.
17. Create and ensure the completion of staff checklists and reports daily.
18. Maintain a neat and clean work area.
19. Become proficient with the computer systems related to the position.
20. Attend weekly departmental meetings as needed.
21. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years’ experience in Housekeeping.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an Inspector.
• Guest relations training.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and safety.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage.

Shift:

• AM schedule flexibility.
• Full-time schedule, including weekends.
