The Salvation Army Southern Territory seeks a Camp Hoblitzelle housekeeping supervisor to manage day-to-day janitorial operations at the Hoblitzelle Camp and Conference Center in Midlothian, TX. You will supervise staff, plan schedules, and conduct performance evaluations to maintain high cleanliness standards across rooms, bathrooms, offices, and dining areas.

Responsibilities include ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Minimum three years of housekeeping experience with at least one year in a lead role.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical janitorial tasks.

Responsabilités

Schedule/Hours: Various, depending on Camp Hoblitzelle's booking schedule.This position is responsible for:Supervises, participates, instructs, and monitors the day-to-day general housekeeping of the entire Hoblitzelle Camp and Conference Center; cleans rooms; maintains the neatness and cleanliness of the resident facility on a daily basis.Key Responsibilities:Plans, schedules, assigns, and supervises the work of subordinate janitorial and housekeeping personnel; conducts performance evaluations and provides salary and hiring/firing recommendations.Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies.Cleans and sanitizes all offices, common areas, and dining rooms; sanitizes beds.Maintains and organizes inventory of laundry supplies; orders new supplies to ensure stock is always available.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform the needed janitorial work.Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) frequently.Working Conditions: Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to dirt, dust, disagreeable sights and/or odors, and various temperatures.Employee Benefits:Health, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off and Holiday PayLife Insurance403 B PlanEducation and Experience:No formal education required,AndThree years experience performing housekeeping work with at least one year lead worker or supervisory experience,OrAny equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Certifications:Valid State Driver’s LicenseEqual Opportunity Employer: Veterans | Disabled
