Job summary

Wayfinder Waikiki, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations and guide the housekeeping team in maintaining high cleanliness standards for guest rooms and public areas on site in Hawaii.

You will lead daily assignments, train staff, and ensure timely response to guest requests while coordinating with other departments to uphold guest satisfaction and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for shift.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail required.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces are clean and well maintained.
• Inspect rooms to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met.
• Assign daily work, train, and motivate housekeeping team members.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and daily workflows.
• Update status of rooms in the property management system.
• Respond to guest requests and housekeeping needs in a friendly and timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to support guest satisfaction.
• Ensure safe and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Provide support during busy periods or staffing shortages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department and helps ensure a clean and welcoming environment for all guests. This role helps lead the housekeeping team, supports daily assignments, and ensures guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards.

Essential Functions

• Support daily housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean and well maintained
• Inspect rooms to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met
• Assign daily work, train, and motivate housekeeping team members
• Help maintain cleaning schedules and daily workflows
• Update status of rooms in the property management system
• Respond to guest requests and housekeeping needs in a friendly and timely manner
• Collaborate with other departments to support guest satisfaction
• Ensure safe and proper use of cleaning products and equipment
• Provide support during busy periods or staffing shortages
• Perform other duties as assigned
