We are hiring a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, budgeting, and managing the laundry and housekeeping departments to ensure cleanliness, order, and laundry services for residents and the facility.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is preferred
• Prior long-term care facility experience required
• Some business and personnel management training is preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA and IDPH regulations relevant to housekeeping and laundry

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and verify references to staff the department adequately
• Supervise scheduling to ensure continuous service
• Oversee purchasing, storage, and distribution of supplies
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator
• Work as part of the weekend supervisor rotation
• Maintain all housekeeping and laundry equipment
