Job summary

HHM Hospitality seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor in Culver City, CA to lead and develop the housekeeping team, ensuring brand standards and guest satisfaction. You will schedule staff, train associates, oversee laundry, and maintain safety and EarthView sustainability practices while supporting breakfast operations as needed.

Ideal candidates will have previous housekeeping and supervisory experience, a high school diploma, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates to HHM standards.
• Screen applicants and hire new employees when needed.
• Train staff to clean rooms efficiently and to established standards.
• Monitor guest service scores and drive improvements.
• Manage supplies and equipment distribution to associates.
• Occasionally clean rooms or assist with cleaning.
• Address performance and conduct concerns with HHM processes.
• Supervise laundry staff when applicable.
• Prepare work schedules based on occupancy and staffing needs.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines and safety practices.
• Assist in breakfast area as needed.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and assist management as required.

Your Focus

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
• Screen job applicants, and hire new employees (in the event housekeeping associates are HHM employees.)
• Train staff to clean rooms in an efficient manner according to established standards or partner with external vendors to ensure staff is trained properly.
• Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction.
• Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to associates.
• On occasion, clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms.
• Address associate performance and behavior concerns by either direct intervention with HHM associates or through vendors.
• Supervise laundry employees, if applicable.
• Prepare work schedules for HHM associates or provide vendors with anticipated occupancy to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.

• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
