Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown The Loop is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and ensure rooms, public areas meet high cleanliness and guest service standards.

This hands-on role requires 1+ year supervisory hospitality experience, strong leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coach a diverse TEAM. Weekend and holiday availability is required; Spanish is highly desired to serve a diverse guest mix.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, floors, public areas, and housekeeping spaces.
• Supervise, coach, and support Room Attendants and Housemen.
• Follow up on cleanliness standards and address discrepancies.
• Communicate with Front Desk regarding room status, late checkouts, DND rooms, and guest requests.
• Ensure housekeeping closets, linens, keys, and supplies are properly maintained.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and Lost & Found procedures are followed.
• Address guest concerns and support daily housekeeping operations.
• Work closely with Housekeeping Management and other departments.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll help lead the Housekeeping TEAM and ensure guest rooms, public areas, and housekeeping operations consistently meet high standards for cleanliness, quality, and guest service.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who is hands-on, organized, detail-oriented, and ready to grow.

What You’ll Do
