Job summary

Canopy by Hilton Memphis Downtown Beale Street is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team and ensure exceptional guest service and cleanliness. You will direct daily operations, maintain standards, and collaborate with other departments to deliver consistent results.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a hotel environment, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a brand or luxury hotel environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a housekeeping team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate daily housekeeping operations including rooms, public areas, laundry, and supplies.
• Maintain highest cleanliness, presentation, and efficiency while meeting brand standards and guest expectations.
• Collaborate with department heads and other teams to ensure smooth operations and timely problem resolution.

Responsibilities:The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating the daily activities of the housekeeping department, along with ensuring smooth operations, including rooms, public areas, laundry, and supplies. You will be expected to maintain the highest cleanliness, presentation, and efficiency level while adhering to brand standards and achieving guest satisfaction. This position requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to effectively deal with department heads, guests, and team members.

Requirements:

• Prior 3+ years’ experience in a brand or luxury brand hotel
• Prior work experience is required and Bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
