Job summary

The Westin at Frenchman’s Reef in St. Thomas is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations.

You will lead a team to maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas while delivering world‑class service in a tropical luxury setting. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in housekeeping and prior supervisory experience, strong English communication skills, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role required.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual a plus.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry operations.
• Train, motivate, and mentor the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service.
• Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest expectations and address issues.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating staff shifts.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a healthy work environment.
