Job summary

Hotel Operis, Autograph Collection in Charleston seeks a detail‑oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

You will oversee room cleaning, public areas, and laundry, train staff, and enforce safety and sanitation practices in a fast-paced boutique hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in housekeeping or cleaning.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual a plus.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping activities (rooms, public areas, laundry).
• Train, motivate, and mentor the housekeeping team to deliver service excellence.
• Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest expectations and address issues.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; assist in scheduling staff shifts.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
