The Mills House in Charleston, SC is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily operations and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness for our historic hotel. You will train and motivate the housekeeping team, supervise room cleaning and public areas, and collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Flexibility to work weekends/holidays is required. Experience in hospitality cleanliness and strong leadership are essential to delivering memorable guest

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual a plus.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Proficiency with housekeeping software and systems.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry operations
• Train, motivate, and mentor the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service
• Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards
