Healthcare Nursing Center is immediately hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and mentor housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring high cleaning standards and strict infection control protocols.

The role requires strong English communication, physical stamina, and the ability to manage biohazardous waste handling while overseeing isolation room cleaning and general facilities upkeep.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Adequate strength and endurance for strenuous physical tasks such as loading/unloading washers and dryers.
• Color vision to distinguish stains and separate garments.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, train, and mentor housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Implement and monitor infection control and bloodborne pathogen protocols.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazardous wastes and infectious materials.
• Oversee cleaning in isolation rooms and related areas.
• Clean residents' rooms, surgical areas, offices, and waiting areas with disinfectants.
• Maintain floors, equipment, and furniture per infection-control policies.
• Sweep, mop, and buff floors as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment.
• Assist in keeping the laundry department neat and orderly.
• Label clothing and personal resident items.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.

Duties of Housekeeping Supervisor:

• Onboard, train, and mentor housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Implement and monitor strict infection control and bloodborne pathogen protocols.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazardous wastes and infectious materials.
• Oversee specialized cleaning, such as setting up and breaking down isolation room
• Clean residents' rooms, surgical areas, offices, and waiting areas using cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
• Clean and sanitize floors, equipment, and furniture according to infection-control policies
• Sweep, mop, and buff floors as needed
• Operate various types of cleaning equipment
• Handle and dispose of waste using standard procedures
• Assist in keeping the laundry department neat, clean, and orderly
• Label clothing and personal resident items
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies according to prescribed standards

Qualifications for Housekeeping Supervisor:

• Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings, and labels
