Staybridge Suites Jackson-Ridgeland is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to motivate a team, train staff, and ensure high cleaning standards. You will manage daily workflows, schedules, and labor resources, while supporting quality control and staff development.

The role emphasizes hands-on cleaning support when needed, overseeing stock and laundry, and coordinating with maintenance and management to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar position is preferred.
• Experience providing cleaning/maintenance services for organizations is preferred.
• Comfortable using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Strong management and organizational skills.
• Proficient with creating schedules on a computer.
• Stamina for physical tasks and long periods of standing.
• Capable of light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Create and update daily housekeeping schedules.
• Hire and train all housekeeping staff and ensure standards.
• Assist with cleaning according to company standards.
• Assist with deep cleanings as necessary.
• Organize and maintain stock of supplies and laundry.
• Report maintenance issues to maintenance or management.

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for motivating a team of housekeeping professionals and creating an environment for them to perform at their best. Focusing on training and quality control is critical. Managing workflow and labor resources is a daily challenge. Hiring, staff training, and making schedules are primary duties.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating housekeeping schedules daily
• Hiring and training all housekeeping staffEnsuring company cleaning standards are consistently met
• Assisting as needed in cleaning according to company standards
• Assisting with deep cleanings, as necessary
• Organizing and maintaining the stock of supplies and laundry
• Reporting maintenance issues to the maintenance department and/or management
