Overview
As a HousekeepingSupervisor, you will work alongside all housekeeping team members to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of the resort. Assist guests, housekeeping staff, and other departments in all housekeeping-related functions in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner that maintains high standards of hospitality service.

Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Supervisor's typical job functions include:
- Inspecting and ensuring that all areas of the resort are clean, including guest rooms, meeting rooms, corridors, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and all other public spaces of the property.
- Following and instructing team members in basic cleaning duties required and proper use of equipment and chemicals.
- Becoming familiar with Boyne’s accommodations, meeting facilities, common areas, and furnishings.
- Having daily assignments prepared for subordinates and meeting with them to go over all duties of the day.
- Handling the proper documentation for subordinates that do not follow rules and guidelines. See the lead supervisor or the executive housekeeper prior to corrective action.
- Maintaining continuous training, education, and development for team members.
- Completing all required checklists and turning them into lead supervisor.
- Handling all unusual requests and immediate guest concerns, and notifying proper personnel if necessary.
- Being knowledgeable about chemicals and equipment used.
- Assisting room attendants when necessary.
- Checking staffing schedule daily for changes and communicating any changes that may affect staff.
- Providing supervision and assistance for all team members in the housekeeping department.
- Directly supervising 30–50 team members in the housekeeping department while supervisors carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
- You have previous housekeeping experience.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- You have achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- You have exceptional attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and are well organized.
- You are able to lead a team effectively.
