Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Boston's Seaport is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure guest rooms, public areas, back of house and landings meet Four Star/Four Diamond standards. The role includes inspecting cleaning and servicing and logging repairs, and ensuring attendants have linens and supplies.

Hourly rate is $34.03. The candidate should have supervisory experience, be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays, and maintain a fast-paced, safety-conscious

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory/coordinating experience in Housekeeping.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Ability to maintain 4-Diamond level cleanliness standards.
• Stand or walk for an extended period; frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assign special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
• Ensure Guest Room Attendants have supplies and linens.
• Assist in cleaning guest rooms when necessary.
• Stock linen closets on guest room floors.
• Inspect VIP rooms promptly.
• Assist in processing room status reports.
• Inspect cleaning of guestrooms and public areas.
• Respond to emergencies to ensure safety.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Supervisor, the role of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to ensure that the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, public areas, back of house and landings meet Omni Four Star/Four Diamond standards. The candidate will inspect the cleaning and servicing of all rooms as well as log any repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms. The candidate will also ensure that all guest room attendants have appropriate linens and supplies.

Hourly rate for this position: $34.03

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assign special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
• Ensure that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.
• Assist in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
• Ensure that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
• Ensure VIP rooms are inspected ASAP.
• Assist in processing AM and PM room status reports.
• Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas
• Respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situations. Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury or accident.
• Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
• Perform any other duties required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least 1 year of prior supervisory/Coordinating experience in Housekeeping.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Ability to maintain 4-Diamond level cleanliness standards.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities.
