Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim North is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee team performance and uphold brand standards. You will train, schedule, and coach associates while ensuring guest service excellence and sustainability guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, assisting with cleaning when needed, and maintaining safety and quality metrics. Experience in housekeeping leadership is preferred; opportunities include growth within the HHM portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates to meet brand/hotel standards and HHM values.
• Screen applicants and hire new employees when needed.
• Train staff to clean rooms efficiently according to established standards.
• Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvements.
• Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to associates.
• On occasion, clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms.
• Address associate performance and behavior concerns with HHM or vendors.
• Supervise laundry employees, if applicable.
• Prepare work schedules for associates or coordinate with vendors for occupancy.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines and practices.
• Practice safe work habits, wear PPE and follow MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Assist in the breakfast area as needed.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Focus

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
• Screen job applicants, and hire new employees (in the event housekeeping associates are HHM employees.)
• Train staff to clean rooms in an efficient manner according to established standards or partner with external vendors to ensure staff is trained properly.
• Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction.

• On occasion, clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms.
• Address associate performance and behavior concerns by either direct intervention with HHM associates or through vendors.

• Prepare work schedules for HHM associates or provide vendors with anticipated occupancy to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
