Duties and Expectations

1. Happy Guests

• Guest Relations: Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
• Name Use: Use guests’ names whenever possible to make them feel welcome.
• Guest Satisfaction: Collaborate to achieve high guest satisfaction scores.
• Recovery: Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency.
• Hotel Knowledge: Know all features of the hotel and amenities.
• Events: Be aware of and support hotel groups and events.
• Technology: Understand relevant technology for your role.
• Phone Etiquette: Answer calls courteously with the approved greeting.

2. Spotless Cleanliness

SECTION TWO: Housekeeping Supervisor, Role Specific Duties and Expectations

The Housekeeping Supervisor manages cleaning operations, including rooms, public areas, and laundry. They assume the duties of the Executive Housekeeper in their absence and may need to clean guest rooms and public spaces on those days. Responsibilities include overseeing staff, inspecting rooms, managing supplies, and ensuring quality standards.

Other Duties and Expectations

• Manage guest requests and VIP guests.
• Conduct daily team meetings and room inspections.
• Maintain organization of storage and supply areas.
• Perform deep cleaning activities as needed.
• Monitor work orders, inventory, and safety procedures.

SECTION THREE: Success Metrics

Metrics include guest satisfaction scores, cleanliness inspections, product quality, and teamwork evaluations.

SECTION FOUR: Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience preferred in hospitality or related fields; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude, ability to follow guidelines, handle pressure, and communicate effectively.
• Must be 18+, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform cleaning duties.
