Essential Job Duties
  • Clean rooms, offices, and common areas (vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing, etc.); ensure residents’ rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained attractively; safeguard residents’ personal items; clean spills and soiled areas as observed or directed.
  • Ensure equipment and work areas are safe; adhere to procedures regarding cleaners or hazardous materials; store equipment and supplies properly; follow infection control, safety, and sanitation practices; report hazardous conditions and equipment promptly.
  • Report incidents and accidents; follow cleaning schedules; coordinate housekeeping services with other departments.
  • Maintain equipment and supply carts; ensure proper lighting; assist with lifting as needed.
  • Strip, wax, and buff floors as directed; move and replace furniture; clean storage and exterior areas as directed.
