Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a hotel operations supervisor in Detroit, MI to oversee shifts, ensure guest satisfaction, and manage multiple departments including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Bell Service, and Reservations.

You will lead daily meetings, monitor performance against goals, and contribute to scheduling, budgeting, and safety programs while promoting growth opportunities within the Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) in related field preferred; 1–2 years' related experience or training.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and hotel software; strong data handling.
• Ability to manage shifts and budgets; flex to work holidays, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and manage daily shift operations.
• Support and monitor goals and profit objectives.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings.
• Prepare and communicate daily shift reports.
• Create efficient schedules to control labor costs.
• Assist in budget processes and department reporting.
• Ensure high standard of customer service across the team.
• Oversee Front Desk, Housekeeping, Bell Service, and Reservations.
• Train staff in OSHA standards and maintain confidentiality.
