Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeping Utility Worker to maintain cleanliness throughout the community, operate specialty equipment, and assist with room setups and waste disposal. The role is based at Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains, NJ, with no travel required and compensation of $17–$19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpet care and floor finishing preferred
• Ability to operate carpet and floor care equipment safely
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• May be required to maintain a valid driver’s license as a condition of employment
• Must have a history of safe driving as noted through a Motor Vehicle Record check, if driving is required

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the community through the operation of specialized equipment
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste
• Utilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setups
• Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages
• Remove trash including, refuse and recycling
• Maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets through cleaning and maintenance
