Job summary

True North Hotel Group in Wr entham, MA, seeks a dedicated Room Attendant to join the team at the Springhill Suites and TownePlace Suites. You will help maintain guest rooms and public areas to the company’s high standards and contribute to a welcoming, clean environment for guests.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and readiness to comply with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Certification/training for TIPS, ServSafe and local health department requirements.
• Hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness of guest and public areas as directed by supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, fitness centers, and other public spaces as assigned.
• Assist with removal and cleaning of soiled linens and ensuring readiness for guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for assisting all housekeeping personnel in the performance of heavy-duty work as directed by the Senior Housekeeper.
• Maintain the cleanliness of floors, fireplaces, ovens, elevators and landings, linen closets, guest laundry, exercise room, employee lounge and other public areas.
• Assist with the removal and cleaning of soiled linens.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping.
• Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for an extended period of time.
• Required certifications and training for TIPS, ServSafe, health department and other required organizations according to local codes.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus.
