This position aims to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. The responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms, corridors, housekeeping storage, linen closets, and other areas. The role requires adherence to departmental and company standards and serves as an ambassador for Magnolia Hotel Omaha.

Responsibilities

1. Be knowledgeable of all services, features, and local attractions to assist guest inquiries.
2. Ensure all cleaning duties are completed with attention to detail, organization, and flexibility, checking in with supervisors for additional tasks.
3. Stock supplies and equipment in cleaning carts, storage, linen closets, and public areas.
4. Maintain proper use and safety of equipment; ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including proper disposal and storage of items.
5. Follow procedures for handling, cleaning, and disposing of materials, including biohazards, in accordance with OSHA standards.
6. Manage keys securely and report damages or maintenance issues promptly.
7. Handle lost and found items per company procedures and report to work punctually.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED; or at least six months of related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.
2. Previous hospitality experience in a Four Diamond organization is preferred.
3. Basic English language skills in speaking, reading, and writing.
4. Availability to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
