Mercy Hospital in Dexter, MO seeks an Environmental Services Technician to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks across the facility, promoting infection control and a safe healing environment.

This PRN, on-site role requires no prior experience, but preferred candidates may have a HS diploma and hospital housekeeping exposure, with ability to follow written/verbal instructions and assist with patient-focused service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: None.
• Experience: None.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior Hospital Environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
