Job summary

Mercy in Rogers is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to perform cleaning and sanitation duties across the healthcare facility, ensuring infection control and regulatory compliance. This role supports a healthy, hygienic environment for patient healing and comfort.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma and prior hospital EVS experience, with ability to follow instructions, perform manual tasks, and interact with the public in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior Hospital Environmental service experience preferred.
• Experience following written and verbal instructions.
• Experience performing manual tasks and working with the public is desired.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Prior Hospital Environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
