Job summary

Edmonson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Floor Tech for full-time roles with day and evening shifts. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality care environments and supporting residents in a residential setting.

You will work with a team committed to teamwork and service excellence. Responsibilities include safety, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep, with opportunities for education and career advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in housekeeping or floor care is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and respond to facility emergencies, and document observations, interventions and outcomes.
• Complete forms and reports to assure control of equipment and supplies.
• Meet with Housekeeping Supervisor to identify and correct problem areas.
• Operate power equipment for maintenance and upkeep of floors.
• Assist with outside cleaning duties such as sweeping sidewalks and picking up trash.
• Report disrepair of equipment or supplies.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and respond to facility emergencies, and document observations, interventions and outcomes.
• Complete forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc. to assure control of equipment and supplies.
• Meet with the Housekeeping Supervisor to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas.
• Knowledge of operating power equipment for maintenance and upkeep of floors.
• Provides assistance with any outside cleaning chores, which may include sweeping sidewalks, and picking up trash.
• Report disrepair of equipment, supplies, etc.

Requirements

• Preferred minimum of a high school diploma or completed a GED program.
