Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in Dallas to perform routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas while following facility protocols. The role requires basic English proficiency and prior housekeeping experience is helpful.

You will handle cleaning chemicals, operate floor-care equipment, dust, mop, vacuum, and report any maintenance needs. The position includes benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.
• Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily in accordance with facility protocols.
• Uses proper chemicals in proper portions; may mop, wash windows, and vacuum as directed.
• Empties trash containers, replaces liners, and disposes of waste properly.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by supervisor.
• Reports repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and adheres to safety rules.
• Attends weekly in-services and understands patient care management systems.

This position may mop, sweep, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets, arrange furniture, etc. and generally clean furniture, equipment, fixtures and hardware.Qualifications:Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.Essential Functions:Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas on a daily basis and in accordance with Facility protocols.Uses proper chemicals in proper portions.
