Job summary

Four Seasons Nursing and Rehab Center in New York is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Porter to maintain clean and safe patient areas. The role involves floor buffing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and general disinfecting, with shift variations from 7:00–3:00 and 3:00–11:00.

You will report to the Director of Environmental of Care (EOC) and work with hospital staff; preferred applicants have 1–2 years of healthcare cleaning experience and the ability to read MSDS and chemical

SHIFT: VARIES7:00 am to 3:00 pm / 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Primary responsibilities:

• Floor buffing

• Sweeping

• Mopping

• Hi dusting

• Chute trash removal

• General cleaning and disinfecting.

• Snow removal

• Other responsibilities as needed

All Housekeeping/Porter staff will report to the Director of Environmental of Care (EOC).

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to communicate and understand simple directions in English.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Must be able to read MSDS & chemical labels.

Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years' experience cleaning in a Health Care environment preferred.
