Job summary

Four Seasons Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Porter for a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York. The role encompasses floor buffing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and general disinfection to maintain a clean patient environment.

Shifts vary: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Must communicate in English and be able to follow directions; MSDS labels must be read. Prior health care cleaning experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and understand simple directions in English.
• Must be able to read MSDS & chemical labels.
• Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• 1-2 years' experience cleaning in a Health Care environment preferred.

SHIFT: VARIES7:00 am to 3:00 pm / 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Primary responsibilities:

• Floor buffing
• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Hi dusting
• Chute trash removal
• General cleaning and disinfecting.
• Snow removal
• Other responsibilities as needed

All Housekeeping/Porter staff will report to the Director of Environmental of Care (EOC).

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to communicate and understand simple directions in English.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Must be able to read MSDS & chemical labels.

Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years' experience cleaning in a Health Care environment preferred.
