Trinity Health’s Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a part-time, per diem Environmental Services Aide to join our evening shift team. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and support areas, handling trash and soiled linen, and keeping spaces orderly and safe.

Per diem status with evenings 3:00 pm–11:30 pm; scheduling is discussed with the hiring manager. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates, with competitive pay and DailyPay options to access

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write the English language.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily cleaning procedures in patient rooms and ancillary areas using tools, equipment and chemicals.
• Complete cleaning requests for check-outs and transfers daily.
• Collect trash and soiled linen and transport to the appropriate storage area.
• Maintain furniture in patient rooms, offices and other areas in an orderly fashion.
• Observe equipment and report necessary repair or replacement.
• Keep work areas, equipment and supplies clean, safe and orderly.

Job Summary:

Performs daily cleaning procedures in patient rooms and other ancillary areas in the hospital including nursing stations, restrooms, offices, etc., utilizing various tools, equipment and chemicals to maintain a sanitary environment. Completes cleaning requests for check-outs and transfers on a daily basis. Responsible for collecting trash and soiled linen to transport to the appropriate storage area. Maintains furniture in patient rooms, offices, and other ancillary areas in an orderly fashion, and observes equipment, furniture, etc., and reports necessary repair or replacement. Maintains work areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean, safe and orderly manner.

Hours / Shifts Available (per diem, as-needed position with opportunity to become full-time):

Evening – 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
