Job summary

Trinity Health Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a full-time Day Shift to operate industrial washers, hand-wash pots, and maintain sanitation in the dish room and kitchen, contributing to patient safety. 7:00am-3:30pm, five days per week, with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include sanitizing patient trays and utensils, operating dishwashers, cleaning kitchen areas, and assisting with tray line assembly. Sign-on bonus of $1,000 and comprehensive benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend English is necessary.
• Ability to multi-task, and complete work without supervision in a timely manner.
• Prior related food service or cleaning experience, working in a fast-paced environment highly preferred.
• Be customer and service-oriented, willing to assist others as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sanitization & Cleaning: Clean and sanitize patient trays, utensils, glasses, and pots/pans using machines or manual washing.
• Dish Machine Maintenance: Operate, clean, and monitor dishwashers temperatures and chemical levels.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Sweep and mop floors, clean work surfaces, and take out trash to maintain hygiene.
• Support & Transport: Distribute clean items, transport carts to patient floors, assist with tray line assembly.
• Waste Management: Proper disposal of trash in designated areas and cleaning trash cans.

• Waste Management: Proper disposal of trash and garbage in designated areas, including cleaning trash cans.
