Job summary

Callaway Gardens and Resorts is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to ensure high cleanliness standards for guest rooms and public areas. You will lead Hosts, collaborate with Front Office and Engineering, and drive safety and training initiatives while monitoring inventory and reporting on room status and occupancy.

The role emphasizes developing staff, controlling costs, and maintaining a safe work environment with adherence to hospitality best practices across all housekeeping operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a work history that clearly displays a thorough knowledge of best practices and procedures in hospitality housekeeping.
• At least three (3) years of directly related housekeeping experience.
• At least one (1) year of previous management/supervisory experience.
• Basic computer experience along with experience with property management systems; Opera and HotSOS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Executive Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness standards through guest room and public area inspections.
• Maintains a positive, engaging work environment and high Host engagement and job satisfaction.
• Communicates with Front Office and Engineering regarding room status and defects; places rooms out of order when needed and reinstates after repairs.
