Aqua Aston Hospitality (AAH) is seeking a Housekeeping Ops Supervisor to manage room status, assign tasks, and uphold high cleanliness standards across guest rooms and public spaces. You will coordinate with departments to keep operations running smoothly and ensure excellent guest experiences.

The role requires flexibility in shifts, adherence to safety procedures, and a focus on teamwork, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.
• Able to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Able to lift/carry/push/pull items up to 25 lbs.
• Background and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies room status and prioritizes room cleaning.
• Prepares and distributes assignment sheets to Housekeeping staff.
• Inspects guest rooms after cleaning to ensure standards.
• Inspects public areas to ensure quality standards.
• Coordinates tasks with other departments to ensure efficiency.
• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally.

As a Housekeeping Ops Supervisor, a typical day will include:

• Verifies room status listed on the report, determines discrepant rooms, prioritizes room cleaning, and updates the status of departing guest rooms.

• Prepares and distributes assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff.

• Inspects guest rooms after being cleaned by the Housekeeper to ensure standards are met.

• Inspects public areas/bathrooms, restaurants, fitness center, pool area, offices, and service areas after being cleaned by the Housekeeper to ensure quality standards are met.

• Coordinates tasks and works with other departments to ensure that the department runs efficiently.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.

• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.

• Contribute to team goals.

• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Housekeeping Ops Supervisor at AAH:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.

• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
