Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Tallahassee Central is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards, and manage labor costs. The role requires strong supervisory skills, attention to safety, and a commitment to guest service.

You will train staff, monitor inventories, and coordinate with front desk and maintenance to uphold Hilton standards. A background in hospitality housekeeping with leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of experience supervising at least 3 associates.
• Three years' housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the activities of the Housekeeping Team through daily shift meetings and monthly department meetings.
• Train new housekeeping associates and document disciplinary actions.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring for housekeeping and laundry departments.
• Inspect all hotel areas to ensure sanitation, brand standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain inventories and ordering, process invoices, and inputting data as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is in proper working order (vacuum, laundry equipment, carts).
• Oversee room key controls to maintain guest privacy and security.
• Present training resources to housekeeping staff for continuous education.
• Schedule and operate within the designated labor model.
• Enforce existing policies to maintain guest privacy and implement new ones as needed.
