Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping team, control labor costs, and maintain guest areas to the highest standards at the Tallahassee property.

You will lead shift meetings, train staff, participate in hiring, inspect rooms and public spaces, manage inventories and equipment, and enforce privacy and safety policies while staying within the LBA procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year supervising at least 3 associates.
• At least 3 years housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the Housekeeping Team through daily shift meetings.
• Train new housekeeping associates and document disciplinary actions.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring for housekeeping and laundry.
• Inspect hotel areas to ensure sanitation and brand standards.
• Maintain supplies through monthly inventories and proper ordering.
• Ensure equipment is in working order (vacuums, laundry equipment, carts).
• Oversee room key controls to protect guest security.
• Provide training resources to staff for ongoing education.
• Schedule and operate within the designated labor model.
• Enforce policies to protect guest privacy.
