Job summary

Responsibilities

• Establishes schedule and plans daily work assignments.
• Manages customer housekeeping problems; investigates complaints.
• Inspects and approves staff work performance.
• Ensures cleaning is done to contract specifications.
• Manages and orders inventories of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Maintains department budget and reports expenditures.
• Provides training and coaching to current and new employees; manages hours.
• Arranges maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment.
• Performs administration and paperwork as needed.
• Produces order forms for equipment and materials.
• Keeps knowledge current on cleaning developments.
• As a Housekeeping Manager, aims for continual improvement of the organization.
