Job summary

Sunday River Resort is seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will lead a team, set standards, manage inventory and budget, and collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a hospitality mindset. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour with health benefits and housing options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in housekeeping management or hotel/resort settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards for guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards and address deficiencies promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; oversee procurement.
• Develop and manage the department budget while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with front desk, maintenance, and F&B to ensure seamless guest experiences.
