Job summary

Sunday River Resort is hiring a Housekeeping Support Team Member (Houseman) to assist with laundry, cleaning guest rooms and public areas, restocking supplies, and supporting Room Attendants across the property. Day shifts from 8 to 4 are available in full-time seasonal and part-time seasonal roles.

Applicants should be at least 18, willing to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work weekends/holidays during peak season; on-the-job training is provided and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.
• No prior housekeeping experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Available to work on weekends and holidays during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clean linens and towels to housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Strip vacated rooms of used linens, towels, and trash to prepare for Room Attendants.
• Run bins/carts of soiled linens and trash to the laundry and disposal areas throughout the shift, and return supply bins to housekeeping floors.
• Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and public restrooms to Sunday River cleanliness standards.
• Clean vacated and occupied guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Restock guest room supplies (toiletries, linens, coffee/tea amenities) and housekeeping cart supplies throughout shifts.
