Job summary

Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is launching and seeks an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the opening team. You will establish high standards of cleanliness and service across guest rooms and public spaces.

You will recruit, train, and supervise staff; manage operations, cost controls, forecasting, and inspections to ensure readiness and memorable guest experiences. This salaried role offers a competitive base salary and the rewards of being part of a premier hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping leadership and opening teams.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
• Coaching and developing team members for high performance.
• Experience with hotel operations or opening projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and meeting areas.
• Ensure room readiness and timely guest access.
• Manage departmental processes including systems usage, budgeting, forecasting, and policy enforcement.
• Conduct inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain high quality standards.
• Inspire, coach, and develop the housekeeping team to achieve peak performance.

Schedule: Flexible schedule with availability to work AM, Mid, and PM shifts based on business levels and operational needs.

• Conduct inspections: Oversee and perform room and public area inspections to maintain high-quality standards and compliance
• Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
